Junior PPC Media Buyer

Half Past Nine is a boutique marketing and management consulting firm focused on growth and infrastructure development for our clients. We’re a young, global, and dynamic team with big dreams. We serve a small number of clients and are hands-on, providing a near ‘extension of the team’ experience. We serve the following industries: Healthcare, SaaS, and E-commerce. We are looking for an experienced PPC Media Buyer to join our team in Q1 2022. 

You Are:

A dynamic media buyer and strategist with experience driving results across a wide variety of industries and objectives. You know PPC advertising platforms like the back of your hand, care deeply about the clients you serve, and have the ability to translate large datasets into actionable recommendations that drive consistent and sustainable growth.  

What you will do:

  • Launch, manage and strategically optimize PPC/SEM campaigns across a diverse client base.
  • Work closely with the HP9 team to execute day-to-day PPC/SEM activities including; keyword research, forecasting, account structure, bid optimizations, ad copy, budget pacing, etc.
  • Closely monitor and make decisions in the accounts to meet KPIs and OKRs.
  • Analyze campaign data and provide meaningful, actionable insights for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate strategy and results around keywords, copy, placements, creative, and customer journey.
  • Monitor trends and inform the HP9 team on the newest strategies and best practices in PPC/SEM advertising.
  • You currently are not required to interface directly with clients, travel, or lead major client-performance reviews

You ideally have experience in:

  • 1-2 years of experience managing, and optimizing multiple accounts concurrently exceeding $5,000 in monthly spend.
  • Leveraging paid media to successfully drive e-commerce revenue, leads, or talent inquiries.
  • Building, connecting, and troubleshooting product feeds in Google Merchant Center.
  • Reporting and analyzing data in Excel or Google Sheets using Supermetrics or similar tools.
  • Thinking like an operator - you understand the role of PPC and its contribution to the overall objectives of the business.
  • Experience with the following: Google Ads Manager, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, YouTube. Bonus: Microsoft Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager, Supermetrics, Copywriting, Shopify, Hubspot.

Role Details:

This role will begin in Q1 2022, on a contract basis with potential full-time opportunity.
